Legal ceremony availableFiji allows foreigners to legally marry. You need valid passports, birth certificates (original or certified), Certificate of Single Status (or Certificate of No Impediment), and proof of any prior divorce or widowhood. The marriage license must be obtained from a Births, Deaths & Marriages office, allow at least 3 days before the ceremony (a Special License for foreign visitors can be issued within one working day). License is valid for 28 days. Only Fijian celebrants can legally solemnize the marriage. Two witnesses aged 21+ are required. Marriage certificate receives an Apostille Seal for international recognition.
