Life In Rosy Hues

Justine and Daniel is a long-term couple before they concluded their relationship with a wedding. Elegance flourished in their special day, as the reception was showered with white and pink florals and a little bit of gold tones. But, the most beautiful rose of all was Justine on an professionally layered wedding gown of matte and glossy material – such an angelic sight. To add contrast, her bridesmaids wore grey chiffon gowns. And since a wedding requires a lot of groovin’, they provided some good ol’ slippers to keep the celebration goin’. Their dessert buffet also suggests that love is sweet, please take a treat. And if I were there, I’d eat as many cupcakes my tum-tum can take! Ha-ha! May your married life be an inspiration to all couples! Congratulations, Justine and Daniel!

Our Story

Dan and I met in Sacramento. We went on a few dates and then I decided I was going to move there. Personally I hated being away from my family so after living there for 6 months I decided to move back home to Reno and asked him to come with me. He said yes and we have been together ever since. That was 9 years ago.

The Proposal

Dan proposed to me in my parents kitchen. My sister and her kids were in town. We were all talking around the table my sister and I were talking and Dan came to the side of me and dropped on one knee and proposed to me in front of my mom, dad, sister, and nieces. It was a amazing moment for everyone to share.

The Planning Process

The planning process was 1 year and a 1/2. I felt it was enough time but the small things kept creeping up on me.

The Challenges We Faced

Something always goes wrong, or something isn’t the right color, or the linen was not ordered right. Addressing them on the day of your wedding just doesn’t work. Just relax.

Wedding Decor Inspiration

I wanted it to be romantic, night time gold tones with lace.

Money Matters

$ 20,000 was our wedding budget and the reception was the biggest expense we had.

The Guest List

We invited 68 guests and 60 came over. We wanted a small intimate wedding of only family and close friends present.

Planning Advice For Couples

Relax and try not to fight. The process is fun but it is also very irritating sometimes. 🙂
